GOOD DESIGN STARTS WHERE PEOPLE GET STUCK.
about
My name is Josef Jawad. I am an Industrial Product Design student in the Netherlands.
I have spent years watching people deal with products in real situations.
Through tech retail, troubleshooting, teaching, and small product projects, I have seen people choose, compare, misunderstand, trust, ignore, break, love, and hate products.
That shaped how I look at design.
I am interested in the real life of products. Not only how they look in a render, but how they behave when someone picks them up, tries to understand them, compares them, buys them, or quietly disapproves.
My interest in psychology gave me better questions to ask and better insight: what do people notice first, what makes something feel clear, what creates trust, and where does a product lose them?
For me, product design sits between people, technology, business, and use. I like the middle ground between design, engineering, and marketing: where a product has to work, make sense, and communicate why it matters.
I keep learning, and this portfolio shows that process: sketches, CAD, prototypes, 3D prints, tests, mistakes, improvements, and the thinking behind the work.
