GOOD DESIGN STARTS WHERE PEOPLE GET STUCK.
about
My name is Josef Jawad, and I am an Industrial Product Design student in the Netherlands.
I have spent years watching people deal with products in the tech stores where I worked. Again and again, I saw people choose, compare, misunderstand, trust, ignore, break, love, and hate products.
That shaped how I look at design and why I believe it matters.
I am interested in the real life of a product: how it behaves when someone picks it up, tries to understand it, compares it, buys it, or quietly decides it is not for them.
My interest in psychology has helped me ask better questions. What do people notice first? What makes something feel clear? What creates trust? Where does a product lose them?
For me, product design sits at the meeting point of technology, business, and everyday use. I enjoy working in the space between design, engineering, and marketing, where a product has to work, make sense, and communicate why it matters.
I am still learning, and this portfolio shows that process: sketches, CAD, prototypes, 3D prints, tests, mistakes, improvements, and the process behind the results.
I have been fortunate to turn what I love doing into both my work and my field of study.
